first_img‘Rad dad’ to bad dad: Criminal couple steals Costas on Captiva May 8, 2021 FORT MYERS, Fla. – A man hid inside of an antique store in Fort Myers and waited for it to close before he stole $250,000 in jewelry. The unidentified man hid behind a couch on Monday in Gannon’s Antiques and Art Center, located at 16521 S Tamiami Trail. AdvertisementStore owner Dean Gannon said the suspect shopped at his store two days before the burglary and made a purchase. Gannon said based on surveillance video, the suspect left in a dark-colored SUV.“You can make it easier on yourself and turn yourself in now because the world is going to see who you are,” he said.Gannon is asking other businesses in the area to look through surveillance video and to be on the lookout for a suspect or vehicle matching the description.
