This happened at a home in the Greenbrook neighborhood of Lakewood Ranch around 3:30 a.m. on December 1, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Manatee County deputies said the person cut the screen door and got in the enclosed lanai. Home security footage showed the person armed with some type of rifle.
