At stumps on Day 1, India’s score reads 303-4 with Pujara unbeaten on 130.With the series poised at 2-1 in favour of India, both sides made changes to the line-up to elevate their chances of winning the test. Virat Kohli included KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav at the expense of Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma who were unavailable for the test.Meanwhile, the Aussies ran out of patience with opener Aaron Finch and swapped the batsman with debutant Marnus Labuschagne. The change is expected to have an impact on the batting order as well when the hosts come out to bat.Winning the toss, Virat Kohli opted to bat first at the Sydney Cricket Ground. KL Rahul failed to make most of the unexpected chance and left India in early jitters at 10-1 in just the second over.Mayank Agarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara ensured the side does not lose any more wickets in the first session and comfortably steered India to a strong position. Agarwal, unfortunately, was dismissed in the seventies again. Kohli did not add much to the scorecard after being dismissed by Hazlewood for just 23.Pujara, in his usual vigilante role, took up the responsibility of anchoring the innings as wickets tumbled around him.
